The art, language and unique cultures of native homelands are thriving and growing in communities across the U.S.A. We have created an annual competition for local artists, designed to showcase the interpretation of rich and diverse Hispanic heritages in your community.

Local artists will be invited to enter an original work of art in a regional competition.

• Entries will be judged by an esteemed panel who will select three finalists who will each receive a cash prize. The first place entry will be featured on the cover of the next local edition of Directorio en Español.
• High quality, limited edition commemorative posters featuring the winning art will be produced and displayed across the community.
• A concerted local PR and media campaign will promote the competition, culminating in a high profile event and awards ceremony officially recognizing the winners, and displaying all entries.
