Washington DC (September 26, 2005) - HYP Network's VEGA Directorio en Español has begun distribution of the 20th Anniversary edition of its directory serving Washington DC and Maryland. This year the directory's cover features a reproduction of the winning entry of the "Arte de America Hispana Contest" by local Bolivian artist Henry Claros Rojas. This contest promotes and celebrates the rich and diverse Hispanic culture that is an important part of the community in the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia area is held every year. Today over six hundred thousand Hispanics live and work in counties that comprise the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia area served by VEGA Directorio en Español.
