 HISPANIC YELLOW PAGES NETWORK LAUNCHED 1st EDITION OF DIRECTORIO EN ESPAÑOL BRONX AT THE MUSEUM OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK New York, NY (July 5th, 2007) - - On Thursday June 21st, 2007 HYP Network's Directorio en Español, launched the 1st edition for the Bronx in New York at The Museum of the City of New York. The directory's cover features a reproduction of the winning entry of the first "Arte de América Hispana Contest". This art competition promotes and celebrates the rich and diverse Hispanic Heritage throughout the New York area. Local artists and art students 18 years and older compete for a $3,000 grand prize by submitting original work that is the artist's interpretation of Hispanic Heritage in the city. Andrew Sklerov, General Sales Manager of Directorio en Español/New York, and Brenton Mulliner, Regional Sales Director of HYP Network, presented the $3,000 award and commemorative plaque to NATALIE DEL VILLAR artist, and winner of the competition. The winning artwork was reproduced on the front cover of Directorio en Español's 1st edition being distributed now. The image will also be used on programs and posters to be distributed at community events. The special event hosted by HYP Network, had the support of Arte de América Hispana title sponsors: El Diario/La Prensa and State Farm. During the event, the top 3 artists were recognized and received cash prizes as the new edition of Directorio en Español with the winning artwork on its cover was unveiled.
